His career began in investigative journalism and long-form documentary work, earning Emmys for ESPN's Outside the Lines and Miracle in New York. He also directed acclaimed films for HBO Sports, including the Emmy-nominated A City on Fire: The Story of the '68 Tigers.

Dan brings that same documentary sensibility to brand storytelling, working with agencies and brands including Porsche, PayPal, USAA, UPS, and Bloomberg.
